Father’s Day 2022

Every year for Father’s Day I love to create a homemade card with my boys. Two years ago, we created a golf themed card, last year we created a fishing themed card, and this year we went with a grilling theme! I always include the boys’ handprints, and it’s really sweet to see them grow each year!

You can grab the free template for our grilling card here. You’ll also find a fun questionnaire for both dad and grandpa in the download! All you need to create this card is a few different colors of construction paper, a glue stick, a sharpie, and some little hands! Easy peasy but so cute!

Father’s Day gifts in our home are pretty simple: some new fun socks & a book about dads (I chat more about this in last year’s post), but I’m still browsing for an actual gift this year. If you don’t have anything in mind, Matt loves his Yummly Smart Meat Thermometer. I gave it to him as a birthday gift last year, but it would pair perfectly with this grilling themed card!

However you celebrate the dad in your life, I hope it is filled with joy and homemade cards!
